For Schools
For schools, children’s safety is the primary concern, so restricting and monitoring entries and exits is especially important. In case of fire, it must be known immediately who is inside the building. Students are often undisciplined and lose their identifiers, so appropriate solutions must be applied accordingly.
Reception and Gatehouse Service
For student safety, we recommend installing tripod turnstiles or other access gates at the entrance so every entry and exit is registered. Based on stored student photos, the reception service can immediately notice on the monitoring interface if someone attempts to enter unlawfully using another person’s card.
Student ID Card as an Identifier
Numerous identifier types can be used in the Predor system, including cards, wristbands, stickers, digital barcodes, and more, but students often lose them. Using the student ID card as an identifier can be a practical solution because it is likely to always be with the student.
Emergency and Evacuation
For schools, it is especially important to know exactly who is in the building. In case of a fire alarm, it must be determined as quickly as possible if someone is still inside. The Predor mobile application and the real-time updated evacuation list help with this.
Emergency Plans
In the event of an armed attack, one of the preconfigured plans can be activated immediately, even at the press of a button. This allows the attacker’s route to be automatically blocked, escape routes to be cleared, and an emergency bell to be triggered.
Customization
By keeping students’ timetables in the system, absences and tardiness can be tracked. It can also be ensured that underage students may only leave when they have no more classes. With software integration, for example, a parent can authorize an early departure from their own mobile phone, which the reception service can also see in real time.
Schedule-Based Entry and Exit Control
It can be arranged that if the student still has a class and has no parental or teacher permission to leave, the system will not allow them to exit.
